HOUSE RULES
ACCESS TO ROOMS
Departures and Arrivals
The hotel owner has the right to refuse guests whose attire is indecent or negligent, or whose behavior is noisy, inappropriate, intoxicated, contrary to public morals or public order.
Anyone wishing to stay at the hotel must provide their identity and age, as well as that of the persons accompanying them. The guest cannot introduce third parties, not known by the hotel owner, into the room (Police Prefect’s Decree of October 28, 1936, modified by Decree Art. 9 of February 1, 1940), unless authorized by the hotel owner. Similarly, the guest cannot occupy a room for more persons than allowed by the current regulations (a maximum of two persons per room).
In case of violation of this regulation, the hotel reserves the right to charge the responsible guest for the cost of the room corresponding to the excess number of people, whether the guest is present or not, at the rates in effect at the time of the breach. The hotel will charge the guest's credit card for this violation.
Upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed by the hotel owner, the guest cannot demand to occupy the room before 3:00 PM. The nightly rental ends at 12:00 PM, regardless of the guest's arrival time.
A luggage service is available, allowing guests to leave their luggage at the hotel reception in exchange for a ticket. The hotel declines any responsibility in case of theft or damage to the luggage.
A bank imprint will be requested by the establishment at the time of booking, and a pre-authorization will be carried out to verify its validity.
Upon departure, the guest must return the room key to the reception. It is prohibited to take any hotel property with them; if an item is mistakenly taken, the guest must inform the hotel owner and return it; otherwise, the item will be charged. The room key is a key that the guest can keep on their person but must not give to a third party. The key must be returned on the day of departure.
In case of non-return, the hotel will charge €25 and debit the amount from the guest's credit card.
CHILDREN AND EXTRA BEDS
Children are fully the responsibility of the guest. They must not be left unsupervised in the room.
Upon request, the hotel can provide a crib, subject to availability, and they can only be installed in Premium or Deluxe rooms.
Children up to 3 years old stay free of charge for the use of available bedding.
Children and adults over 3 years old are not allowed to use this bedding.
The maximum number of cribs per room is 1.
PET POLICY
Pets are not accepted within the establishment. Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed free of charge.
GROUPS
A reservation is considered a group booking from 4 rooms reserved. Special conditions will apply.
RESPONSIBILITY
Failure to comply with the regulations, safety rules, hygiene, and damage or negligence that could cause direct or indirect harm to equipment, people, or future services will result in the guest’s responsibility and will be charged. The guest is responsible for their physical conditions of access, and the hotel disclaims all responsibility for any consequences resulting from the services.
RESPECT FOR THE PREMISES
Hygiene and Safety Rules
A decent attitude, marked by restraint and discretion, is required to respect the serenity of the premises.
It is prohibited to bring glass items, illicit substances, or to smoke within the hotel premises.
Failure to comply with hygiene and safety instructions will result in the immediate expulsion of anyone whose behavior goes against these rules.
Damage and Disturbances
The guest must use the rented room while respecting the integrity of the premises.
The rooms provided to our guests are checked, functional, and in good condition. Guests are encouraged to immediately report any issues to the hotel reception.
In case of problems, the guest must assume civil liability. In the event of damage, the hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies for any infraction noticed after the guest's departure. The compensation amount will be charged to the guest's card.
The hotel may require full reimbursement for voluntary or accidental damage to materials, objects, or furniture belonging to the hotel, with a penalty and compensation ranging from €1,000 to €2,000.
The hotel may demand full reimbursement for damages caused by flooding or water damage, whether voluntary or accidental. In case of damage to other rooms, reimbursement of the other guests' night stays will be required.
The hotel may require a cleaning fee if the room is left in an unsuitable condition. In the event of damage to carpet, bedding, or mattresses, the hotel will require reimbursement with a minimum fee of €1,000 for repairs and the inability to rent the room.
Generally, the guest must pay for any damage caused directly to the hotel. They may contact their insurance (if they wish to be reimbursed) for any damage caused, whether voluntary or accidental, during their stay.
All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for an additional night for extra cleaning costs if smoking occurs in the room. If the guest wishes to continue smoking inside or outside the designated areas, they will be asked to leave the hotel.
In case of non-compliance with the hotel’s internal rules, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without any refund. The hotel reserves the right to charge for undeclared consumptions upon departure and for damages to the room. This amount will be charged to the credit card provided during booking. The hotel is not obligated to notify the guest but can provide an invoice upon request.
Guests must not nail anything to the walls or move any furniture.
Noise, even during the day, is prohibited. The guest causing disorder or scandal in any form will be asked to leave the hotel immediately without a refund. For the sake of tranquility, all noise must cease between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Any noise disturbance from a guest or pet under their responsibility may lead the hotel owner to ask them to leave the hotel without the need for acoustic measures, as long as the noise disrupts the peace of other guests (Articles R.1334-30 and R.1334-31 of the Public Health Code). Any inappropriate noise will be reported to the police if necessary.
A hotel room is a place for rest. Any commercial activity is strictly prohibited.
Prohibitions
For safety reasons and to respect others, it is strictly prohibited to smoke or vape in the rooms (even with the window open) and in the common areas of the hotel.
Smoking inside the establishment exposes you to a fine of €68 or legal proceedings:
Decree No. 2017-633 of April 25, 2017, concerning the application of the ban on vaping in certain collective spaces.
Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, establishing the application of the smoking ban in collective spaces.
Non-compliance with the smoking ban: If we detect tobacco smells in your room after your departure, we will be unable to re-rent it for the following night.
Therefore, in addition to the €68 fine, smoking or vaping in the room (even with the window open) will incur a charge for an additional night.
Moreover, using an e-cigarette or hookah may trigger the fire alarm unexpectedly (smoke detectors in the rooms are very sensitive), which will lead to the immediate evacuation of all hotel guests.
Any false activation of the fire alarm for non-compliance with this rule will result in a €150 charge for reactivating the fire safety system.
Also, cooking in the rooms, eating meals, bringing drinks not provided by the hotel, or doing laundry is strictly prohibited.
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints about the quality of services provided must be made immediately to the hotel owner.
SAFE
Personal identification papers and valuables (watches, jewelry, payment methods, etc.) can be placed in the safe provided for this purpose in each room.
It is also the guest's responsibility to ensure that the safe is properly locked after entering their personal code.
LOST ITEMS
If the guest forgets an item, they may request its return by mail. The item will be sent with tracking and insurance for valuable items. The shipping costs will be charged to the guest.
FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR
Fraud is a criminal offense characterized by consuming a paid service:
While knowing they are unable to pay or having deliberately decided not to pay,
While pretending to be willing to pay.
Fraud is punishable by 6 months in prison and a €7,500 fine, in addition to damages.
ACCEPTANCE OF HOUSE RULES
The hotel’s house rules apply to all bookings. Any stay implies acceptance of the hotel’s special conditions and house rules. Failure to comply with these terms will result in the immediate termination of the contract, and financial penalties will apply. In case of non-compliance with the hotel’s house rules, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without the possibility of requesting any refund.
IN CASE OF NON-COMPLIANCE WITH ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS, THE HOTELIER WILL BE OBLIGED TO ASK THE GUEST TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT IMMEDIATELY, WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION.
